Our Story
Trace Zero was founded in 2009 by Frank A. Taube III utilizing a career in process control and design innovation. The Taube Companies leveraged decades of experience in separation technologies that classified particles and developed ultrahigh purity processes.
Our Story began as a Pilot Plant Facility at Precise Finishing Systems in Howell, Michigan. Our first products were semiconductor grade malonic and citric acid for use in chemical mechanical planarization slurries. Our goal was to develop the purest of products with trace element control. Quality control and statistical data were incorporated with microelectronic standards from the onset.
In 2014 Trace Zero began expansions to our state-of-the-art production facilities in Auburn Hills, MI; Dramatically expanding the capacity of its existing products. Trace Zero has developed a proprietary purification system capable of being altered to purify a wide range of chemical applications.
Trace Zero incorporated the ability to produce custom blends and systems to test scale ups of research and development. Including the construction of a state of the art laboratory for research & development.
